No, I still haven't watched SPN. I promise to get to everyone's entries eventually. But I did watch:
I actually thought this episode was really good. Like, if it continues at this level, I may have to mark it up higher than "wow, this sucks but there's a hot chick" to "wow, this is mostly okay and there's a hot chick!" The storytelling was a lot tighter in this and I'm actually really intrigued at the Damon/Caroline storyline. In fact, if that was the main focus other than boring ass Elena and Stefan, the show would kick ass.
This is blasphemous, I know, but when they have Damon at his best, he kind of reminds me of like a Buffy season 2 Angelus type. And Caroline is clearly Harmony. And I like the dynamic those two have together, with her knowing and him toying with her. It's twisted in an entertaining way.
And the end was actually a game changer I care about, rather than "OH NOES WILL STEPHAN GET ON THE FOOTBALL TEAM?!" Cuz I totally saw that episode of Smallville and yes, he does. I'm actually really looking forward to next week.
