Flash Forward

First off, I'm still not sure why people think that they saw a definite future. If I had a dream that I went to college on the moon, I would not assume that meant I was going to college on the moon. The fact that everyone is just assuming that this means that they're coming true seems more like a plot convenience.

I also don't see why no one thinks that it's just coming true because whoever planted those thoughts is making them come true. Consciousnesses don't have time machines to jump into the future. If the Flash Forward didn't happen, then Mark never would have started the wall in the first place and Olivia never would have met the Simco guy, so whoever orchestrated this is obviously playing a few steps ahead (rather like a chess game). D. Gibbons was never planning to get on that bus, he just knew that Mark would be looking for the name D. Gibbons so he put a hit out on the credit card so that Mark would go to the warehouse to make him think that it was playing out coincidentally and killed the cop because he knew she was supposed to die anyway and made D. Gibbons have the flash forward to have the names so that she would lead them there. It's just all very well played.

And there are some major inconsistencies. It was sunny in both cupcake lady and FBI lady's Flash Forwards, but unless both of them and a cupcake shop moved to the other side of the planet where it was daytime, then that's not possible and they were clearly viewing another time.

And how come both of the kids knew all the names, but the adults didn't? Either sometime during the Flash Forward, they have conversations with these names or it's just a plot hole. Simco didn't know Olivia and vice versa, but Charlie and Dillon knew each other's names? And Olivia's name.

I like that the show is making me think, but I also think they need Bobby to come smack them around and call them idjits and run over their feet with his wheelchair until they start being smart about this.
