He was gearing up to yell at Eddie - because who else knocked like a crazy person? But then Lavender was yelling, and Roger's mind reeled a little as he tried to make it make sense. The last time he'd heard those words, he was pretty sure his entire world started to crumble. This time, he raised an eyebrow.
"Like right now?"

Lavender had always suffered from intense word vomit, completely forgetting to think before she opened her mouth. That often lead to trouble.
But this was possibility the best news she had received in her twenty-five years of life. She couldn't be expected to remain calm.
"Well, I mean, unless you want to-"

"I feel like I'm missing a step in this conversation." He was already smiling, though, starting to clue in. At least, he assumed she was trying to tell him everyone had been wrong when they'd sworn children were off the table for her - them.
