Roger had just pulled on clothes and had a towel thrown over his head when there was pounding at the door. This wasn't knocking; it was something with urgency and purpose - and it was kind of infuriating.

He was gearing up to yell at Eddie - because who else knocked like a crazy person? But then Lavender was yelling, and Roger's mind reeled a little as he tried to make it make sense. The last time he'd heard those words, he was pretty sure his entire world started to crumble. This time, he raised an eyebrow.

"Like right now?"

"Wot? No! Not now-" she said, realizing the way she had blurted out the news. She pressed her hands to her mouth, laughing.

Lavender had always suffered from intense word vomit, completely forgetting to think before she opened her mouth. That often lead to trouble.

But this was possibility the best news she had received in her twenty-five years of life. She couldn't be expected to remain calm.

"Well, I mean, unless you want to-"

Laughing a little at how all over the place she was - it was lucky that Roger was well-versed in hyper-Lavender interpretation - Roger grabbed her hand and pulled her through the door.

"I feel like I'm missing a step in this conversation." He was already smiling, though, starting to clue in. At least, he assumed she was trying to tell him everyone had been wrong when they'd sworn children were off the table for her - them.

Lavender followed him inside, her entire body buzzing with excited energy. She actually had to mentally remind herself to slow her mouth down.

"I was just at St. Mungo's," she explained, squeezing his hands as she bounced on the balls of her feet.

"Everything is normal! Everything. I can have a baby!"
