Not because you're afraid of not getting into heaven, or whatever your equivalent of heaven is. I don't really believe in heaven. The idea that we were put on this earth to endure suffering in exchange for a better life afterwards is absurd. This life, this world, that we have - it is a beautiful thing! Take care of it, take care of the people in it, always strive to make it a better place. That's how I've tried to live my life.
It pays off every day. Every day I feel as though I've made some kind of difference, just by being as good as I can be, giving others the benefit of the doubt, trust, love... Love is really it. That's the most important thing.
Positive energy is all that matters; all that you give into this world, will eventually come back to you...
