Whoa, I haven't had a bout of homesickness like that in years. Here's hoping it never happens again.

Just a quick note to say that a)I'm back in Vancouver, and b) if you're me and lalaithlockhart, and you're going to give blood, it's more or less inevitable that one of you is going to wind up engaging the staff in a discussion of vampire novels.
