Hm, I was tagged by Nikita, so here goes. This should be fun. ^.^

Post 20 facts about yourself then count how long it took you to fill it out and tag that many people.

1. I am...um...a girl?

2. I am Korean.

3. I was born in Seoul, Korea.

4. My birth was an accident. My dad didn't want children. But when he married my mom, she was 29 and he was already 34. My grandparents on both my mom's side and my dad's side were really pushing for grandchildren. My dad fought them off as long as he could, but he had to give in when he rear-ended my grandma on my mom's side. Traffic in Korea is ten times worse than New York. Yes, this all happened in Korea. He says he grew to love me though. Okay, dad.

5. I used to be in a choir at the Korean school I used to go to. You know, Asians who live in the states send their kids to Korean/Japanese/Chinese school on the weekends to keep up with the language and culture. So I went to Korean school and I was in the choir. Alto. I couldn't keep up with the sopranos at the time. I still can't. Choir singing is different from what I like to do anyway.

6. I sing rock songs.

7. The first J-rock song I ever heard was "Seitekii Kinchou Sexual Tension Implant" by Kagerou.

8. I have a birthmark on my right leg. It's about the size of a quarter and it's right on the surface of my shin. I want to get it removed, but the surgeon tells me if I go through with it, I shouldn't walk or run because the skin there is thin and would tear open easily after the procedure. Plus, the healing process would take forever. I hate that birthmark.

9. I was born missing a tooth. Before I got my braces, my orthodontist took x-rays and told me I was missing a tooth. So that's why my teeth were all messed up, they all shifted because of that gap. After I got my braces off before high school, I went to an oral surgeon and he made a tooth for me out of porcelain. That tooth is now screwed into my skull. Literally, I mean with a bolt. I have a fake tooth. Looks pretty real though.

10. I used to be obsessed with K-pop. But i'm not anymore. I'm actually ashamed of those days. I used to think Korean guys were cute. But I look at them now and I realize how bushy their eyebrows are. For christ's sake, have they never heard of tweezers?

11. Okay, this is going to come off as a bit creepy. But sometimes when i'm bored, I wonder what it would be like to date my friends. Girls and guys, sometimes I wonder what it would be like to date them. And I think i've thought about everyone I know...

12. I have an in-ie belly button as opposed to an out-ie belly button.

13. I have ugly feet. My second toe is a tiny bit longer than my big toe. Usually, people's big toes are longer than the second one. My entire body is just ugly.

14. I've seen Sara naked. It was when we went to the public bath together. There's a really nice one in Korea Town, California. I think it's on Wilshire...what's the name of the building...oh yeah, the Aroma Spa. Hey, she saw me naked too. Quit freaking out.

15. I like public baths. If you think that's gross, screw you. It's a part of my culture, damnit.

16. I've had laser hair removal surgery. I saw an electrolosist once every six weeks for the past half year and now my sessions are complete. My mom paid her to take care of my legs and my under arms. Now, no hair grows in those areas. I don't have to shave anymore and it is very convenient. It didn't hurt much, it was so worth it.

17. The first time I was ever on stage was during K-fest. K-fest is a Korean street festival held every year at Brynmar. I went one year and my friend insisted I enter the singing contest. I didn't want to. Or, I did want to but I wasn't prepared. She takes her CDs everywhere with her though and she made me sing. I sang a Cherry Filter song and I won. It was amazing and the crowd was beautiful. I've never heard people cheer so loud. I wanted to cry.

18. After the contest, the MC had me do an encore. So flattering, I can't explain the feeling.

19. After the encore, some guy who saw me perform gave me his phone number. He told me I was beautiful and that he was surprised at my voice and that he wanted to see me again (in Korean.

20. I threw away his number as soon as he went away.

Done. Um. I don't know how long this took me and I don't know who to tag. So...anyone who wants to do this, just go right ahead. I'd love to read your answers. :)
