Since getting my new job in September, 5:00 AM has been up and at 'em time for me. I do it because I have to.
This morning in the shower I had an Enrique Iglesias song in my head. Sadly, this kind of thing does not surprise me as yesterday I woke up with a church song in my head. It made me wonder, however, which would be worse. Please, this is a serious inquiry...
So, which is worse:
Being hit by a bus while concentrating on the lyrical content of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs"
OR
Cracking your head open after falling in the shower singing "Be With You" by Enrique Iglesias?
Take into consideration the removal of moLE and the boyband history.
Luckily, neither has happened. Yet.
In an entirely unrelated matter, I'm worried about the slow but steady decrease in human contact to get things done. Automated banking I like, don't get me wrong, but automated check-out at the grocery store isn't the same. Neither is ordering medicine online and getting it in the mail. I'd much prefer going to my local pharmacy. Unfortunately, the union, which I hate and which also supplies my prescription coverage, only uses medco for maintenance medications. Medco has charged me $70 for ONE bottle of Singulair and can't tell me what happened to the other two bottles of medication they supposedly sent on February 1st. Now, I know that the customer service rep I speak to over the phone about this is not personally responsible for this clusterfuck, but I have absolutely run out of patience and am going to lay in to whomever I speak to later today. I also plan to get my money back. Too bad our interaction-less society won't allow me to demand that I get my prescriptions down the block at the drug store.
