I AM ENGAGED!!!!!!
First off-Chad told me he had to work, and wouldn't be able to come home for christmas. Well he just said that, so he could surprise me. My mom made me go on an errand so i wouldn't be home whenever he got there. Everyone knew he was comming home but me. So i walk in the door on christmas eve, and i see chad's book bag, and i go, "is that chad's bookbag?" and then he comes strolling down the stairs...so im "are you kidding me" and he says, "surprise!!!" and gives me a hug saying "did you really think that i wouldn't come and see you on christmas?" I start balling my eyes out of course, and my mom is taking pictures of me, and i swear me and chad hug for about twenty minutes. I seriously had no idea that he was comming home, he had it planned all along and everyone knew but me.
THEN........we go to my aunts for christmas. I am so happy to see chad that i am following him around and hugging him, and he is like, "You are making me nervous, sit down!!" And im like, "what?!" Why? But i didn't think anything of it.
The christmas exhange at my aunts began and my aunt had forgotten my present on accident, and so we are getting ready to start and then kelli says, "chad, you accidently left one of laurie's presents in this bag, do you just want to give it to her now?" and he says, Yeah. So he hands it to me, and i am the first one to open my present, everyone is watching and amy whips out her camera phone (and i didn't think anything of it!!!) so i am opening this box, (this box is the size of a shoe box) and there is tissue paper and a little tag from abercrombie jeans. SO i pull up on the tag, and the tissue paper comes wiht it. Then there is this little box. I go, "what is this?" and then i start to freak out. I start shaking and chad says, " Just open it", so i open the little box, and it in is a jewely ring box, so then i start shaking even more and i open the box,to see the most beautiful ring ever!!! and chad gets on one knee and says, "will you marry me" and then i just lose it, balling and i jump on him, and i put on my ring and i am shaking and balling and everything else. Everyone is taking pictures and yelling and just hugging me. I had no idea, but i tell you what, that christmas eve will go down in history as the best ever! I don't think i could be anymore happier right now. I wasn't expecting this at all!!!! My ring is soooo pretty!!! Everyone knew he was going to be here, and that he was going to propose to me. He even called my mom and dad a week before and asked them if he could.
Yesterday we moved to bloomington. So i am here now. i am so happy, i could freak, and i won my dooney and bourke purse off of ebay!!! hehe and i am still waiting on my christmas present from kelli (a juicy couture rabbit fur velour suit and a louis vuitton purse that i got at overstock.
I got lots of stuff for christmas, i got abercrombie jeans, brown pants, a sweater, 3 shirts, sarah jessica parker perfume, that 70's show season 1, lipstick from victoria secret, a set from american eagle, a victoria secret gift card, A ENGAGEMENT RING!!!!, tank tops, underwear, a purse, stocking stuffers like sprays, and candy, and scratch offs, i got shania twain perfume from chad's mom and it doesn't smell too bad!!, i got some money.
I think that is it!
What i thought was going to be the worst christmas, turned out to be the BEST!!!
