Thank you for all the birthday wishes, and dimity_blue and aerianya, thanks for the flowers and chocolate torte. I want ya'll to know I had a great time last weekend, and this weekend my kids and grandbabies are coming for more belated birthday fun. My son, upon hearing I was cooking a ham tonight, juggled his schedule so he could make it here in time for dinner.

The closet I've come to ending up dead is the night that I punched Russell Crowe, "the gladiator" (imagine maaaaa making quotation marks in the air), in the head. Aussie! Aussie! Oiy! Oiy! Oiy! (accompanied by appropriate arm slashing motion)

Jesse's baby bump was just starting to show when they played in Milwaukee in August.

I've heard the same thing about the Blarney Stone. 4 of my sisters and I visited Ireland this past June and we skipped Blarney Castle.
