None of this stuff is new, but hey, I never said I was uber hip.
My favorite (non-IchiRuki) Bleach AMV. UverWorld's "Chance" is not on any of the OSTs, it's from one of the games (I checked.)

Pete Townshend's a rock dinosaur (alongside the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton) but hell I just love this song: "Let My Love Open The Door."

My friend M.L. would approve of this... since he moved to New Zealand he totally embraced Kiwi-ness: "Albi the Racist Dragon" by Flight of the Conchords.

It's not my favorite Barenaked Ladies song but I love the video -- it's so early 90s silly. Back in college, nobody except one friend -- L.K. -- knew this band. I had to order "Gordon" just to get a copy and I still think it's their best CD; all the musical allusions to other songs are just win -- everything from Snoopy's Theme to The Housemartins was thrown in. I started listening to the Beach Boys because of their song "Brian Wilson."
Then "Stunt" came out ten years ago and suddenly they're like, major pop rock heavyweights (literally.) Sigh. So here's the Barenaked Ladies' "Be My Yoko Ono."

I totally wish I could do the stuff Lily Allen does in this video to a guy who hurt me five years ago, so that's why it's a pleasure to watch this. It's total wish fulfillment: Lily Allen's "Smile."

One of my favorite artsy fucked up angsty videos: Radiohead's "Just." This is practically my theme song.

One of my favorite songs has whiskers on it. I'm really showing my true age here with this new wave selection: "Ink and Paper" by Modern English. It's okay, you can giggle. I giggled too. Neon Genesis Evangelion fans should feel right at home with all the flashing text in the background, and yes, the saxophonist totally channels the Boy George wannabe in "The Wedding Singer."

Lastly, my great love: Glen Phillips, and my favorite song from his last CD, Mr. Lemons.
I totally blew it two years ago. I could have seen him play live at the House of Blues in downtown Chicago but I was too exhausted to drive by myself. Besides, did I really want to go to a club alone? I'd just be carded because I'm a petite Asian chick. So here's Glen's "Everything But You."
