Oh hey, today only happens once every four years. Fun!
I woke up out of the weirdest dream this morning, probably because I was still in full-on REM sleep after I'd turned the alarm off twice.
The whole thing ran something like a Dexter episode, actually. It started off with a sepia/orange tinge, the way the flashbacks are usually shot. I was either Dexter or Deb (the POV kept switching), and we were having some kind of Christmas family gathering with Harry. We were all opening presents when I noticed a note or something, and suddenly we were in this very different Euro-Switzerland place. No more sepia tone, lots of blues and white snow and gingerbread cottages. We go inside one of houses, and it's full of miniature furniture. I turn around to see the caretaker of the house - I think I'm Deb at this point - and notice she has a ring of red splattered around her mouth. Harry says very calmly, "Her lips were chewed off." At this point my subconscious thinks "heelllll no," I spend another five dream-minutes Not Looking at the lady, and then I wake up.
Good morning!
The Elves was cool; I was almost run over by one of the producers on a scooter, but you know, I'm That Intern. The casting peeps were cool so I think yesterday's work went over well.
This weekend was lined up to be a bunch of parties and Girls' Nights out, buuuuut an alum tagged to Pendleton Center to see if he could get some free labor, so instead I'm working a shoot. :oP It's for an itty-bitty company and I don't know anyone involved, the call time is 7am and I'm not getting paid, they're leaving everything until the ultra-last minute, BUT. I'll be script supervisor which I love to do, so I think the field experience will be well worth it.
This upcoming week is crazy hectic anyway, so I figure I'll get into a crazy work mode and not mind how tired I'm getting. Because the week after that - SPRING BREAK!
