And from the second class of the day
Sooo we had our first table reads for Writing for Series TV tonight, aaaaand I was actually a huge bundle of nerves, because I have no reference for the quality of my fiction writing. In middle school my best friend and I would churn out a ridiculous amount of fanfic, but as some slightly pretentious writerly friends have told me, that's worlds away from actual scriptwriting :oP The words felt very Dexterous as they were coming out, but I really couldn't judge whether there was too much of this or too little of that, etc. etc. etc. PLUS the prof and TA are both huge Dexter addicts, sooo I was dying :oP
But shockingly enough it went over really well! My fake Spanish only got a couple winces from the one native speaker in the room, the spots where I tried to make a funny got laughs. It was fun!
