(no subject)
well i havn't updated in a while so here it goes...
so last sunday i road in a downtown parade with my father, it sucked. it was cold and no one was there.
so then friday night i decided to give it another try in metaire with my dad. it was muchhh muchhh better. i had a good time. i think overall i just should stick to metaire parades because i know im going to have a good time when i ride in those.
yesterDAY was the luling parade...and i bet you think im going to complain about walking in high heels, but your wrong because it didn't really hurt. and it wasn't that bad, although i did get a lil tan/burn on my face and arms. but that makes me happy because it will turn into tan soon! :) ohh by the way THANK YOU TO KALI BROU. i wasn't about to march because my big dumb ass forgot my poms AND gauntlets! and my mother had to pick them up from her and bring them to me right before it started! i owe you brou!! :)
after the luling parade me samantha kailee and rachel were going down paul mallard to leave, right...well we almost hit this truck because he like didn't put his break lights on until after i was almost up his ass and like i was skidding on the road trying to stop. like im still not sure how i didnt hit him. it scared the piss out of me at first but them me and kailee just started laughing.
we grab some taco bell on the way home, well kailee is fixing up her taco and guess what she finds in it? a FREAKING BUG! lol now most people would probably stop eating it and she did but we all kept on eating ours. i guess you could say we were a litle hungry? haha i think it's kinda gross now that i think back but too late now!
then we all pick up brit and go meet at lauren's house to follow them to endymion. so we follow them but we end up being the last person in the line...because there were four other cars following her besides us. so were the last people in the line...well we come to a stop light and all six of us were stopped and together, but then this chick annie doesn't go when the light turns green because someone in her back seat is taking a picture...well when she realized that the person infrnot of her had already gone then she zoomed up to go and a car cut infront of me. well thats when everything started going down hill. we kept on catching red lights and getting further and further away from the group. so now we had NO idea where to go! but they told us to follow the detour signs so i did. I ENDED UP IN THE FRIGGIN CALIO! or how ever you spell it! i mean thats like bad projects! so now they had called and they were already at grey hound bus station and we were in the projects so im talking to mrs.debbie trying to getout of there and we try to go back around and follow the detour signs again well we end up the CALIO AGAIN! so at this point i want to cry because i have no earthy idea where im at and the projects scare me! call me a puss but they do! so then we go the oposite way of the dome when were supposed to be going to the same way so we have to turn around again and then we end up seeing the bus station. that was one of the most stressful rides i've ever driven.
well we decided to make a little sign for the parade that said "We Like It Big". well it worked pretty good and if you've ever heard of Gene Simmons then you know he's the lead singer of KISS. well he had a reality show float for his reality show and they were video taping us and our sign and the guy came back to us after the float passed and told us to do it again and act like we were screaming with our sign. so we did..so we figure were probably going to be on his show? haha i don't know but i thought it was neat. so we caught some beads and left after the 12th float because we didnt want to wait forever because we heard there was an hour wait. so we left went home and snuggled up to covers mmmm!
today is the DA parade i hope it's not horrible. and who knows what after that?
