i just had the most phenomenal conversation that i think i've ever had in my life. and i feel safe, and happy, and amazed by the actual simplicity of how convoluted and complicated human lives are.
obtuse, i know, but it's 4 am and i don't know how to top sitting in my little black honda for hours in front of the house i've driven to SO many times, talking for so long that the weight of the words and our breath fogged up my windows, under the warm moon listening to the royal tenenbaums soundtrack.
and then i drove home on shadowy roads that normally require headlights set to bright--but not with that moon. and i listened to nick drake's "fly" and sped 20 over the limit and i am so, so honored to know you and be your friend.
i have to get up early for work and i don't care.
