[local] a request and an offer and a question
The request:
Does anyone in the Somerville/Cambridge area have a vehicle that could be used to transport some 5'x5' shelves? I have an awesome friend who wants our awesome shelves but needs transportation -- and I think the Zipcar pickups are too small. Help would be greatly appreciated and likely rewarded. :)
The offer:
Does anyone want some free Altec-Lansing computer speakers and subwoofer? They're old (maybe 10 years?) and a little worn, but they still sound great.
The question:
I have an old desktop tower computer (and maybe some speakers) that I need to get rid of. Does anyone know how to dispose of such things? My research on the matter has just confused me.
