let's see, what's going on in my life recently... well brian is currently in minneapolis for an interview which he told me went really well (fingers crossed), i found out my job is less about dealing with the people i supervise and more about dealing with my sometimes retarded coworkers, and some lame neighbor's dog woke me up at 9am on a saturday when i should really be able to sleep in. oh, and i hung out with taryn and joe mcdowell (who's in town for the weekend) last night, so that was a fun time.
last weekend was brian's and my 1st anniversary, so we went to a nice dinner and saw the play 'pride and prejudice' at the indianapolis repertory theater. the play was hilarious and stuck fairly close to the book, in my opinion. it had been forever since i'd been to a play (high school was the last one i believe) and i really would like to go to them more often. actually, one of the security guard's at target is going to be in a production of 'pippin' coming up, so i think i'll probably hit that up. mainly because he's somehow suckered about half of the people i work with to go and he made me promise. bastard.
otherwise it's kind of boring without brian here, and messy too. i forgot what a slob i am without encouragement. i should really start to make a concerted effort to clean up more to avoid being the 'bad roommate'.... ok, so it might last for a day, but i tried!!
other than that, i head to minneapolis myself from oct. 10-17 for a target seminar. it's cool cuz i'll get to stay with my parents, but since they were planning on getting a hotel and a car for me, i'll be getting an allowance every day for food and 'host gifts'. $40 a day for food! $150 total for gifts! rock on!! and since i will be staying over saturday night, i saved like $150 on my plane ticket, which they're gonna give me too!! i feel like a real business person now :)
on that note, if you have a job or are unemployed, don't go to law school parties. all they do is talk about classes and professors and this 'torte' stuff which just makes me hungry. mmmm, pastries...
ok, enough randomness for the day. i'm either going to go work out or... well, not. :)
