i'm employed!!
yes, some dumb company decided to actually hire me. and pay me. wow. i start at target distribution center here in indy next monday 8/9 as a team leader, which basically means i'll be leading a team. yea, i'm not too sure of the fine details yet either, but i'll let you all know how it goes. i'll do a lot of training initially but i'll only be in this position for 6-18 months before i get a promotion, so thats cool (more money!!). looks like i'll be in indy for the time being, but i think the boss is gonna move me to minneapolis eventually, so thats interesting to find out. i'm assuming it'll be a decision made in the future so i don't know anymore at this point.
other than that, i'm looking forward to going shopping and being able to afford things like going out to dinner for once in my lifetime. i'm so excited!! now i just gotta get a better cell phone and a car and i'll be set.
