A couple of years ago, Chris and I happened upon a movie being shot here in Grand Rapids. It stars "50 Cent", and was directed by Mario Van Peebles, as I recall. The name of the movie is "All Things Fall Apart". And Ray Liotta is in it.

Anyway, the scene takes place in a car dealership. Chris and I pulled into the lot for a while and watched, and Chris even go a few pictures before a security guard came over and told him to stop. Chris said it would be cool if my mini-van ended up in the movie.
So the movie just came out (on DVD I think) and WOW! My car's in the movie!
You can even see the outline of our bodies, if you look close enough. Chris is sitting on the passenger side, and you can clearly see his right arm, the one he was using to take the pictures. So frickin' cool!
In other news, Dad has been in the nursing home since November 8, and is doing well. My daughter & her husband want to buy a house of their own, but are having trouble saving money, so they gave up their apartment and are living in my basement. Hopefully this will only be for a little while, but the good news is that they'll be here through the winter months and will shovel snow for me.
Nothing else exciting going on with me. Back in March I said it would take me four years to watch all my tapes, and I'm pretty much on schedule. I'm not quite keeping up with the two tapes per day, which is how I'll get it done in four years, but I'm close. With Christmas coming up, a lot of shows are repeats, so there won't be so much competition from the DVR, lol.
