There are no benefits to worry. Worry does not help me get a job. Worry does not help my self-esteem. Worry does not make me feel happy. So why do I keep worrying?
“If you have a problem that can be fixed, then there is no use in worrying. If you have a problem that cannot be fixed, then there is no use in worrying.” -Buddhist Proverb
The problem I have is that not only do I not have a job, but I have no idea what I want to do for a living. I feel that my only solution right now is to dig deep and figure out who I am, and what I want to stand for. My worry about this is that I don't get paid to think about me. Figuring myself out is a life-long journey, and I can't wait a lifetime to get a job.
