Reality is so Much Better
Life has been going so well lately. I have a new job at the NSLC which I hope I'm gonna like. The people seem really nice and I'm pretty excited about minimal customer contact. Seriously, who wouldn't love a job where you just have to say "hi, how's it going?" ring shit through and then send people on their way and get paid more for doing it than in the restaurant business? I think I'm gonna dig it.
I've also been having incredibly amazing moments lately. Things have been happening that I can only define as perfect moments. Moments that you don't want to end but when they do, you look back on them and smile. It's just been so...simple lately. So simple, in fact, that it seems like I don't have to float off into my world of pretend so much. I can't recall the last time I was this happy over such an extended period of time. It's a little depressing to think that I've been so unhappy over the past couple of years but at the same time, I'm glad I feel this way and I want it to continue.
