On Saturday morning we went to eat at a cafe in downtown Bottineau. The lady at the table next to us was doing poppies. I had never experienced this "poppy" thing before. You give a donation to the American Legion and you get a paper poppy, which you then pin to your shirt. Who knew? So me mum got herself a poppy. She's totally crazy about them. ( Read more... )
