Tell me everything!
Taking high schoolers to the dining hall for lunch is always fun. Usually they look scared-like, sometimes ask the boring questions they pull out of a handbook, and then nod and smile when I give them the answers they were hoping for. Yes, college will be fun, yes you will learn a lot, and yes, you will be able to make new friends.
Lately the seniors have been more proactive, as the deadline gets closer. They HAVE to know everything about this school, before they will decide to go here. Today, a senior leaned over, smiled real big, and said "SO, tell me EVERYTHING about your four years of college here. I want to know EVERYTHING." Geeze, you'd need more than an hour to talk about what I've been up to for the past years, and there are some things probably better left not said. ;-0
