Fall...Spring...WINTER RALLY!

Feb 04, 2002 12:25

The weekend was perfect. Just as i wished it could be, just what i had waited for. It took us a while to get going from Melrose, but this time Southshore and Andover drove along with us, so as a line of 5 YMCA vans we began driving down the Mass Pike. After a long awaited ride we arrived. We were the last 3 clubs to get there. Lisa and i couldnt wait any longer so we ran inside and got rushed by people. The first person i saw was Squirt. She ran over and told me i was in her AND Andy's group. (If that's not a sign that the weekend would be great, i don't know what is) Not only were squirt and Andy in my group but also Mike Jackson, Sarah Clayton, Amanda Regan, Mark Scheider,Matt and a bunch of other awesome people.
So after seeing everyone that i have waited to see FOREVER i got yanked back outside by Carol.(May i point out thats the only time she had to do that all weekend- new record- YAY ME)
Ok so i am not going to describe every single thing that happened- i must say it was more than i could ask for. It wasn't like Fall rally in the respect that i didnt meet large amounts of new people, but i got to spend time and cuddle with everyone i havent seen in forever, which is the best thing ever.
It was cold at Camp Sloper. Definitly a way to describe it. And squirt and i got T-shirts from Mark (who we love, oh yes we doo)
There was good spans of time just to talk with everyone and take pictures and hug lots. The dance was crazy and i got to spend lots of it with Sarah Gorman. We also got injured sitting on the bench together. Speaking of Sarah Gorman- we had a name tag funny issue. And that was the biggest ring around the rosey circle EVER. Saturday night Liz told Lishy and I a story and we got to hear all about the story that doesnt exhist with Brandy Tootie and all.
I didn't cry at closing, or on the way home. I don't think i relized that i am not going to see these people tomorrow. Or i just started to believe myself about all the road trips i plan on making.
I have a lot more to say but i can't quite put it all together yet.
When i got home i watched movies, and then went to bed at 6 and slept till 8 the next morning. I decorated my room with all my awesome things i recieved from Andy Moody and now i need to start working on school stuff. I stayed home today (obviously) because i can't quite talk and i have to work today. (That doesnt seem to make sense, but it really does)
Thanks to everyone who made this weekend unbelievable, i love you all so much.

P.S. I wish i could see you all tomorrow, but since i can't i will write- cause i know just where the stamps are. hehe
