Rabid Torchwood WWI plot bunny - help, please?
A rabid Torchwood WWI plot bunny is next on the the cards, and I need some help, please.

Can anyone suggest anything else I should add to that list?
Am I going to have to put Jack in Army gear? The RAF didn't exist during WWI, did it?
Wikipedia has alumni lists, so I'll be using them to make up my OCs. (Delia Derbyshire went to Girton, I've just discovered, so she'll be commandeered ;) )
Also, story writing help, please.
I always seem to get in a mess at about 3000 words, and this story could easily be much more than that. Are there any specific tricks, other than planning, for writing long stories?
