Yesterday (the 20th) was a good day. I travelled down to Sydney, went to a gathering at the Gender Centre in the afternoon, and later was involved with STILL FIERCE performance night. I didn't actively perform as such, but about half a dozen of my videos were shown.

I spoke to Kevin last night and he suggested flying down and/or flying back from Sydney to Melbourne. This was an initially appealing idea, because you can get cheap airfares at Virgin, Jetstar and Tiger at the moment.   Recover from trip

  Stay with Tracey, Scott and the kids
• 17th
  Travel via Train to Ballan and lift to Daylesford
• 17th-21st
  Stay with Carol and Sue at Daylesford 

I'll be away in just over an hour, to Sydney and  staying at Jane's for a few days. I'm going down for the Transgender Day of Remembrance service on the 20th, and to Still Fierce on the 21st to perform. Won't be back until Monday.

I was, on the whole, a good trip to Jayne's.

On the way down I got (accidentally) hit on the head with a metal umbrella in ALDI! It was more of a shock than anything else, though I have had a headache for two days now...

I'm heading down to Jayne's today.

It's going to be a leisurely trip - I'll be spending some time in Cardiff, and a lot of time in Sydney until I catch the train out at around 7pm from Central. The time down in Sydney will be well spent at the Museum of Contemporary Art, and also in spending $50 credit I won last year for a 24 comics day event. And ( Read more... )

Well, it may not have seemed so in the last post, but I enjoyed yesterday.
