Former Yothu Yindi lead singer Mandawuy Yunupingu has died overnight at his home in the Northern Territory. The former Australian of the Year was 56.

R.I.P. SAM
Last night I went to a friend's to help them connect a an ADSL modem. It all went smoothly and I got dinner afterwards. I was a little upset though to hear that their dog Sam - whom I minded for 3 weeks last year - had to be put down after eating a plastic toy laced with toxic chemicals.

R.I.P. Ray Bradbury
Ray Bradbury has died in Los Angeles, California, on June 5, 2012, at the age of 91, after a "lengthy illness" Read a lot of his stuff and enjoyed his stories. Still remember a film I saw at a Swancon in Fremantle about how he created his stories.
