I had Wedges for lunch. Walked Bobby to the chip shop and back. Now it's Wedges in chilli sauce with sour cream but I wasn't sure the sour cream would give me the runs or not (due to lactose tolerance).  In any case they gave me a double dose of chilli, and that was OK but a bit strong. I'm going out to pub in Holmesville with Kevin for dinner at the bistro. Apparently they have a bus that picks you up and drops you back home.

Feeel so so tired.

It was an almost Pythonesque moment yesterday when I went in to NUSA to pick up my veggies from the Veggie Co-op there.

The deal is this - you pay $5 or $10 before Thursday, they go shopping at the food markets and you pick up your veggies on Thursday or Friday. Only yesterday when I went in to pick them up, there weren't any! I asked what the story ( Read more... )

I just found a site called Cheap Cooking.com which has a motto of "Eat well, spend less". Need to have a good look at this. There also seems to be a connected page called urban-homesteading.com. Hmmm.
