The description at the site for this Writer's block really annoys me because it gets the details wrong.

I thought the "redefinition" was very clever, because it solved the problem of classing bodies like Xena and 2 Pallas as well. The folk who will get put out by it are Western astrologers. Just read News 8 Austin (the first page about I could find)for some details, and Pluto's Wikipedia page for it's scientific history. especially the bit about being "demoted" to a dwarf planet.

Now, realistically, this ain't gonna make a great deal of difference to most folk, apart from Astronomers and Astrologers ( Read more... )
