Festival of the Tree Trip - try # 2
I just applied electronically for the Jennie Thomas Travelling Art Honours Scholarship. This is a travel scholarship, which if I get it would give me $A 2500. I still have to provide a portfolio of my work and a one page submission about why and where I want to go, and also attend an interview.

But I know those details, know exactly where I want to go and why, and how it relates to my work. This year around I really want to attend the Festival of the Tree in America. This is tied in with my Trans Taror Deck Honours project. I can already visualise the card called "Community", a group photo of the attendees of this event. It's important, both artistically and spritually to me.

I had an opportunity to do this last year (almost) but couldn't go because I had no one to mind the ducks and the house while I was away. Well this year, maybe I will get there. If I get this scholarship, it'd be all go - I no longer have any ducks and with that money I can board Peggy and the cats if I have to (though a house sitter would still be cool).

Here's hoping!
