Fun with Buses
mycosys and I attempted to go food shopping today.
Originally we were going to catch the 3:40pm from Barnsley, but didn't get out of the house on time. Then, the 4:08pm bus didn't seem to come. When it did, at about 4:25pm, the driver said that he didn't stop at Glendale, though the timetable we had said he did. Now, we could have caught the 4:34pm bus, but there was no guarantee that it'd arrive on time, and Kevin wouldn't be able to use the motorised chair, which is available until 5:320pm (takes 20 minutes to get there).
That being the case, we got chips at the corner shop and went home. We'll probably have to go food shopping tomorrow morning, and a phone call about the timetable might be order too. We wouldn't have waited for the bus if it didn't go to Glendale!
