Thursday Marathon
Today was a looooong day too. Mostly, all I did was try and sort out the new graphics card I'd bought on Wednesday. The short version is, that the AGP 8x card didn't work, and Carolyn has lent/given me a 4x one until I can get another 4x. But, what was expected to take about one hour, took five. I returned the card to the shop and will track down a 4x, which I'll either install in my PC, or give to Carolyn.
I had additional plans, but only that got done. As it happened, Carolyn's husband had taken a day off work to help her in the garden, but she didn't tell me this until I was almost ready to go.
Sigh - computers - have to be something Humans would invent, wouldn't they?!
