Mother speaks...
After missing a bus today, I was feeling a little low, and tired as I walked to Wallsend library. Just been down a bit lately as well, for one reason or another.
Anyway, as I walked on, I got to thinking about the Goddess, with Hecate and Cybele in particular, thinking "send me a sign, just to let me know that I shouldn't fret". Sure enough, I got one. Later, as I stepped on the bus to Barnsley, they were playing I'll Stand by You by the Pretenders.
Know it sounds silly, but I've always associated this (and also of course, Hymn to Her) with the Goddess (and Hecate in particular - read the lyrics), and heard it when I've been down and just needed, well something. Last time it really made a difference was when I was in Phuket in a hospital bed recovering from surgery and feeling very very low. I flicked on the TV and there was, on the WWF advert!
