A Christian Woman Imprisoned in Sudan

Jun 04, 2014 15:56

I've fallen incredibly behind on posting here at LJ, and hope to catch up sometime, but for now, I wanted to pass along an important link. A woman named Meriam Ibrahim is currently on death row in Sudan. She was sentenced to death for becoming a Christian. She is married to an American man, who is also a Christian. Their two very young children (American citizens) are being held in prison with her, while she awaits the result of her appeal in the Sudanese courts.

The ACLJ is fighting for her release, and they have created an online petition so that others can add their voice. If you’d like to sign it, you can do so here. It’s very easy to do, and only takes seconds. And of course, please pray for her, and pass on the link to others as well.

Pastor Saeed, the Pastor imprisoned in Iran, is still being held there. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. For the latest on his situation, you can go here.
