Just keep at it - work-wise and relationship-wise. If you look hard enough for work, something's bound to come your way. As for dating, don't force the issue. If it's not meant to be right now, then it's not meant to be. Soon enough you will meet a girl who are all the things you mentioned above and who will love you for you. Just be careful with college girls because you don't want to get involved with someone who's experimenting - as I'm sure you already know.

Hang in there, girl. :)

College girls are bitches, been there done that in high school though. I'm well versed. I'm more worried about the job. I mean, I have a job from July-November, but I need a part-time one while I'm at my Dad's house...ehh.

Thanks :) How have you been?

Good luck with that. I'm sure you'll find a job during the summer. Try your connections. Someone's bound to have a temporary job opening somewhere.

Same ol' same ol' with me. Seems like everyday is the same: work, home, sleep. Rinse and repeat. Can't wait for June and July to be here already since I'm visiting friends and family. Can't wait. :)

Crossing my fingers right along with you. :) So how was your first year of college? Was it everything you expected it to be?

Not really. Going to LA in June and then to Maine in July to visit the girlfriend. Can't wait!

It was amazing! I tried to post about it, but it's just something you can't quite put into words.

I'm glad you had a great first year. :) I know that if I could do it all over again, I probably would have been more outgoing my first year in college and less shy since it's pretty much a clean slate and a whole new world.

Only going to LA for my brother's college graduation and maybe do a little sightseeing. I was there in November for a cousin's baby's Christening and tbh, I wasn't that impressed with LA. It was alright.

And yeah, it's a long distance relationship but I'm hoping that she moves out here with me eventually if she finds a job here.

Right? New slate's are awesome. I'm used to it; military family and all. So new is good for me :) Hah.

Really? Ex-nay on the LA huh?

I hope she finds a job soon then!

How many times has your family moved around? I don't think I'd like that, moving one too many times. And who is in service? Your dad?

Yeah. LA is just too spread out and to get anywhere, you'd have to drive. Don't like that. I'm used to stepping out of my place and just across from me there's a deli and a small grocery place and restaurants. This is why I love NYC/Jersey City.

Thank you!

Five times I think? Yeah, my Dad is in the Coast Guard. Divorced parents though, so it's just him.

Ohhh! I get it now. Kinda like my situation on an extremely smaller scale. Greenville is like NYC in that fact, and where I am now, it takes a car. I wanna visit LA & NYC!

Do you have any siblings?

When you do make it to NYC, let me know. I'd love to meet up!
