So I know I haven't updated in forever....
I guess my running thing is to update every month now. Since, looking back at my recent posts (or not so recent) I realize that's about how it's going.
Man...so much stuff to discuss. First off..as some of you know..I'm trying to buy a house right now. :) I put a bid in on it this last week....and we're still waiting to hear if they've accepted it or not. The house will need a lot of work but is a great starter house....because you have to start somewhere. This way in 4 or 5 years I can either sell this one and buy a better one or...rent this one out...and buy a better one. :) Anyway...I'm pretty excited about it. I think Mike is going to be my roommate for a while...since Jason now has a lease in his apartment until February. It just all depends on timing.
Work seems to be holding out...seeming as the airlines are still in such terrible shape. I read something concerning American Airlines possibly filing bankruptcy, but I haven't heard anything concrete. Hopefully everything will turn out okay. Who knows. I'm just thinking that this job has to hold out for a while...at least until I can get this house stuff settled.
I switched my schedule at work. Now I'll be working Sunday from 8-4...and Monday through Thursday 5am-1:30pm...with Friday and Saturday off. I start this schedule this week. Today was my Saturday off...without having to switch someone and lose hours over it. I'm enjoying it very much. :) I think I'll get used to the shift in a week or two and it'll be okay.
Anyway...Jason and I are cooking dinner tonight so I better go help him with that. Hope everyone is doing well. :)
