sleeeeepy
so i am D-O-N-E. and really ready to just sleep a whole day away, but there is still moving to do!
i just spent some time at the middletown marriott with my family. went swimming and soaked in the hot tub for a bit then went out to dinner. swimming always makes me so tired. earlier was the little honors thingy, they gave us big ole medals to wear at graduation.
yesterday was eventful. first was grad rehearsal, then the senior bbq at colt state park. that was nice, we got happy free things and pictures taken, then i went on a little walk to the beach with nate. after that were the SAAHP awards, which were mostly a waste of time since it was all the same awards as the banquet i went to last week.
then i zoomed down to the gallery in newport for our opening. the place looked great, and sooo many people came. it was really lonely though, because everyone else had tons of family and friends come down...no one came for me. i know everyone was busy, but i still felt lame, standing there alone. good thing i had meaghan to be my temporary sister. and i got to hold monica's baby chihuahua while it slept, and it was the most adorable thing in life! must get one.
later on i headed over to jen and susan's party with brian. for once i was able to have a good time without hours of work hanging over my head. so i had some drinks, got to hang out with people i don't get a chance to see that often...and for the first time in a while i was happy to be a student at roger williams. and i'm really gonna miss a few people. and it makes me wish i had taken more breathers every once in a while to spend time with them. ah, hindsight. haha, bear with my sappy sentimentality...this is soooo the wrong week to be graduating :P
so commencement is tomorrow, then having dinner with the family (and hopefully nate). work sunday, then cleaning the apt monday with kim. i can't wait to move, but i'm really, really, going to miss my dog. sometimes it just makes my day better when i walk in the door and have a wakie to hug :`( such is life, i suppose. people (and apparently pets) come and go. hopefully some choose to stick around.
man, i was supposed to bring back some overdue books today and i forgot. my memory really is on its way out! heh heh
well i suppose that's all folks, i probably won't write again til i'm in our new pimped out apartment. so until then, i bid you goodnight.
