I missed you, livejournal, and I'm so glad you've agreed to take me back after the facebook affair. Sadly, we last met when I was a thirteen year old girl . . . so I've decided to start things over! New lj account, one I can actually give out to people that I know! Exciting!
It's the second term of college . . . AND I ALREADY WANT IT TO BE SUMMER. I cannot stand the cold in Eugene. No, really, I might cry myself to death if I have to endure much more of this dry cold. It is like the ground is made of ice, even when I know for a fact that the ground is made of dirt and grass. Nothing has the right to be this cold. Nothing.
Still, I have learned the art of making hot chocolate. Yes, from a packet, but so what? In case I forget . . .
3 packets of hot chocolate
2/3 of a mug of warm water
1 peppermint candy
Haha! Recipe for happiness, I have found you. Mm, deliciousness. Well, actually, the recipe for happiness is hot chocolate plus a good book, like Sarah Rees Brennan's book, The Demon's Lexicon, which was such a pain to find in the US. I think it came out here a whole year after it was originally published, and even then, it took me ages to find a store that actually had the book in stock. But at last, I succeeded, and now, the book is mine. Mine, I say! And good Lord, but it is wonderful. I do not even have the words to BEGIN to describe it, other than, oh God, Jaimie, my precious baby, so darling, so sweet.
