I've been spending most of my free, online time on Facebook lately and totally neglecting LJ!
Rachel had her wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. She's going much, much better than I expected. So much so that I can actually leave her for a few hours to go to Jazzercise and breakfast. Cal is here if she needs anything.
I've been reading franchise agreements about Jazzercise. That's the only way to become an instructor, to buy a franchise. So much legal mumbo jumbo. I just want to instruct but oh well.
Business has been extraordinarily good lately. My Kenosha Wisconsin client asked me to come there to discuss a really big project so I'll be there February 4 leaving February 6 and meeting all day February 5. I thought I was able to escape the Wisconsin winter this year, but I guess not. It'll be worth it if this project is as big as it seems to be. I just finished a really big project for my Richmond Virginia client so I now have the time. I also got a new client this month, so that was cool too. 2009 will be a great business year for me!
I won a new laser printer on Ebay. It is used, but perfect for my Harley newsletters. New, it retails for $3500 and I was able to get is 'slightly used' for only $610! Shipping will probably cost another $100 because it's really big and heavy, but it's still worth it. It also has toner, and toner for this printer is really expensive. I figure I can use it to sell small print runs of documents to my clients in addition to the CDs I already sell. It will pay for itself in no time. It prints 11x17 color and duplex! Gotta love that!
I found a fabulous recipe for banana bread on
www.bigoven.com. There are many great recipes on there. I have to make another loaf of banana bread today because the loaf I made yesterday has already been eaten up by my family and Rachel can't even it it!
I guess that's about it for now. I have to run to Jazzercise! Have a great day!
