thoughts upon arrival:
-it sucks to be avoided because you're white/different and therefore not necessarily ok to asociate with
-I wish that i had a phone in my room so that when my phone card didn't work I could cry and not hold it back because they already think i'm strange enough at the front desk
-often times when I cry I enjoy looking out windows because it somehow brings me to peace. Not having windows in your room makes it difficult to find peace. especially when the only light is provided by a flourescent bulb above.
-my room reminds me of a dorm room....minus the windows of course
-this island is beautiful. I think i'm crabby because i'm jet lagged. things will get better...it is only the first day.
