I changed the font of my IMs for AIM and I feel like a whole new person! I don't really know why haha. I bought tickets to go visit Tom in MD over Christmas break and I'm absolutely psyched!! It's killing me that I have to wait all the way until January, but whatever. It's been over 3 years since I've seen the kid and I miss him like crazy. I just got another paycheck from work and it's a bigger one than the first so that's very nice. This next one that I get will be small cuz I barely worked this week. But whatever. Money is money in any amount and it is always helpful.
I'm so nervous about next year. I had an appointment with a study abroad advisor and she told me that I couldn't go to Argentina because the courses there didn't fulfill a Hispanic Studies major requirement. I don't understand how the largest spanish speaking country in the world can't have courses that would count for a spanish major, but whatever. So I have emailed like 20 people that I know in the spanish department to ask them what they think I should do. If possible, I'd like to find a way to maneuver my courses to still take them in Argentina but if not, I'm going to have to figure out where else to go. I think that the one thing I really liked about Argentina is that it's on the ocean. If I go to Madrid or somewhere else in Spain, it won't be the same. So pray for me on that one.
Tomorrow I go home! Just for the night then back here with my car for a couple days. I should have asked the weekend off from work so that I could stay at home but I need the money and I also just didn't even think to do that. Whatever, I don't mind driving back and forth. I love driving. Sunday morning my roomies and I are going out to breakfast and they're all excited that they have a car to transport them rather than having to walk.
