Black Butterflies [Voice: Japanese]
The rain looks like it's finally cleared up, mostly...though there's still puddles of that stuff everywhere. At least we can go outside again.
Um, speaking of outside, I...I was looking out the window, and, I saw these really strange...um, hold on-
[She switches it to video and moves it around to show that she's standing outside, and a weird black cloud is floating nearby. After closer inspection, you can see that it's actually a number of black fluttering insects.]
They're butterflies, I suppose...but, I've never seen any that looked like that...and I haven't seen any since I got here. Has anyone else seen them before? They just showed up out of nowhe-huh...? Oh! [She turns the communicator to show that one of the butterflies has just landed on her hand. It sits there, opening and closing its wings for a second. Pretty, isn't it? Not for long though, cause hey look, there's another one. And another. She gives her arm a little shake to try and dislodge them, but that only disturbs a few that were flying nearby. And they don't seem too happy about that...]
Ow! Wha...i-i-it bit me? Ah! Hey-
W-waaah...!
[For the next few minutes all that can be seen is a blur as Alpha flails and waves her arms, trying to shake off the violent bugs. After a while the view finally steadies again, and there's an awkward angle of the dreary sky and the cloud of butterflies as they give up and flutter off to swarm some other unsuspecting bystander.]
Waah...what was that?! Oww...
