[The comm turns on to silence for a minute; when Alpha starts to talk, she sounds a little tired.] Ah...it's been a while, hasn't it? I didn't even realize. I guess you could say that I've been...keeping busy. [A dry laugh follows the offhand statement.]

In any case, we've returned to Latimir. Most of the...damage seems to have been taken care of for now. Thank you to everyone who did that. Well, we were only on the second floor, so everything seems to be fine for us, at least. Haaa, the apartment really is a mess though. I should start to clean it up right away - I really don't want Cube-kun to be worrying about it...I know he will...

[There's an uncomfortably long pause. It looks like she's forgotten to turn off the comm; then she seems to remember something and speaks up again.]

Oh...it looks like the ash has finally cleared away. I'm glad. It's so good to see the sun rise again. That darkness was...unnerving. Hopefully this means things will get a little better...Ah, but, because of the ash, it also seems like a lot of people might be getting sick. So please take care, everyone.
