Ramon doesn't look back to see if Sands is following, there's no point. He just walks casually outside and heads towards the forge. He knows how dark it is by the side of there, he's hidden unconscious bodies there before. His lit cigarette will be an easy mark to follow though.

Ramon opens the door from the bar. The first thing Sands will probably notice is the warmth, because they're in Portugal at a hot time.
