"Adam deserves it. I´m sorry"
Being the non-american self I am, I only watched the finale of
yesterday. And yeah, Kris is right, Adam did deserve it and should have won.
But don´t think I´m blaming on poor Kris Allen (and I mean poor, can you see the backlash yet?), altough even if I like him I still think the final two should have been Adam and Allison. Case in point, that awesome, awesome rendition of Time after Time with Cindy. It beat fucking Adam singing with fucking Queen. Like, that should be impossible, right?
But yeah, I put all the blame in motherfucker Danny Gookey. Speaking as a foreigner he encopass everything someone might hate about americans. The attitude, tha smugness, the church thing, tha fact he thinks he is the most awesome, funniest, best present of God to human kind. And yes, the damn sob story. And it might be bias talking, but vocally, he never blew me away. And Dream On was one the worst things that ever happened in the show. Is the U.S so homophobic that they can´t see that this man is an awful human being??? And he is not even cute. I mean, that idiotic smile that makes me crawl my way trough the screen and slap him?
The show was prety good tough, some great rock moments, and I liked the So What rendition. But yes, the crowing moment was Allison/Cindy, wich just show how fucked up the Danny Gokey whole journey was.
Kris is cute and safe, but he is good musician. Adam on the other hand is a performer, and he is going places. I can´t hardly wait.
Oh, and I know the RPS folk are all Kris/Adam crazy, but personaly I see more Adam/Allison. Wich I know, he is gay and she is a child, but they are always hugging and being ultra cute with each other, so yeah.
