a little bit about the landlord..
this will eventually come in handy when I get bored and decide to outline every link between my landlord and two or three other individuals who shall remain nameless for reasons of peace.
so Helen went to the doctor's today, and she got Dana to drive her, and only called her daughter Jane after the doctor needed an x-ray. so Helen told Jane that Dana lived on Woodbury Rd. when in fact she lives on Plainview Rd. so Jane coudln't find it. so she came over here and asked my mom, and she came in admired our tree becuase it really is drop dead gorgeous, and then she told a few things that really gave an interesting look on things:
1)every year Jane would bring a tree over here so Helen could dress it. Helen never did, she gave the tree away to someone every year.
2)every year, Jane and her dad, Helen's ex-husband, would invite Helen (as they did this year also) to a Christmas Eve dinner at Helen's ex-husband's brother's house. She always declines and every year she had dinner at someone's house where she was invited on account of mercy. I would know, she's been having Christmas and Easter with us for 4 years now, which is ridiculous if you ask me considering we've done it becuase we thought she had no place to go.
3)my mom and I were right, Helen's back is not broken, not fractured. it is merely a bruise. no big deal, nothing to fuss about. just a drama queen.
Cause and Effect:
Helen really coudl have a family thing going for her, her family tried contunously. for years they've been trying. yet she keeps refusing to be with them, and cuts herself off, therefore putting her daughter in a rather difficult position considering when you first meet Helen and see she has noone around most of the time, then you'd think her daughter's an uncaring awful person. meanwhile, she tries really hard, and is refused and made a fool of. how retarded.
the point of this entry is for me to make a note of what i don't understand. why do people do that to each other? overdramatize, for the pure reason of making someone else look bad it seems. it is rather pointless and they are making themselves and the person involved unhappy. it is honestly beyond me why people would put each other through hell? especially the people closest to them.
