Midsummer
Not a proper update, but a glance at what’s been happening.
I had my garden remodelled last summer. It is a small rear-terrace garden, and the landscapers had to bring everything in and out through the house (so next project will be some overdue redecoration). The pond was rebuilt and both fences replaced, all on their last legs.
I’ve enjoyed filling some gaps with new plants, and the occasional weeding has been a surprisingly therapeutic break from hectic work. Now that the plants have started to establish, I took the opportunity to invite some friends around. A few from my walking group visited on Saturday and then some local friends and neighbours today. The weather could not have been better, conversations flowed, along with Pimms and strong tea.
Rory took some pictures on Saturday and sent me this natty little montage. I really must get back to taking more photos myself.
