Wow, almost the end of second semester
I can't believe how fast time has gone... It's going to be the end of freshman year before i know it, though technically that's finished with the end of this semester (thank you 21 credits from aps...), but what i meant was the end of my first year of college. I'd like to say everything is going wonderfully, but that's not true. I mean i'm very happy with school and i got some amazing birthday presents (tickets to see phantom, new cd player, some awsome turtle jewlery, and monty python, who could ask for more?), unfortunately Grandma is in the hospital and it looks like she's dying, She's in end stage lung disease, had a heart attack, and on top of that has pnemonia (i don't think that's spelled right, but i don't really care.) I've visited her 2 times, but it doesn't change the situation. I wish it did. No matter how annoying i found her at times, i still love her so much. It kills me to see her like this. The worst part is that she kind of knows whats going on. last night i told her before i left to get better so she can come home. She just shook her head no (she can't talk because of all the tubes). I couldn't help but tear at that... I think i almost convinced myself she was definately coming home...Oh well, i guess this is life and an extreme message not to smoke. This is what happens when you smoke for 50 years. I only pray that she isn't in pain, i want whats best for her, even if it's not what i want. Oh well enough sadness...I must think of something happy like it's 10 days until i go to Disney!!!! I leave December 1st and come back the 4th and i can't wait. i have not had a real vacation in 2 years and i think this is just what i could use. It should be nice with the warm weather and all of the holiday atmosphere. I'm only missing one class, so it isn't like i'm going to be behind either which is always a good thing. Well i have to go make dinner... I'm trying to give mom some time off, she's got enough to deal with at the moment. I'll talk to everyone soon since everyone should be back for the break.
