John called me just now to ask if I'd thought of anything else he should pick up from the store on his way home from work, and to tell me to go outside and look at the sky. I'm glad he did. We were supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon, but we didn't. In stead we had freaking amazing skies. The kind of skies that make it difficult for me to drive since I'd rather look at the sky then the road. There's been all sorts of pretty sky phenomena today. Around 5 o'clock there was a rainbow cloud just south of the sun. I'd never seen clouds refract like into a rainbow before, and I tried to get a photo with my camera phone, but it didn't really come out. I can't seem to get pictures off the phone anyway.
