Gentlemen,
Here at the start of term, I have a few announcements:
It is only the first day of the new term. That means I expect to see you in uniform today above all days.
That means shoes, not sneakers, when you are not attending physical education class; school jackets or school sweaters, not hoodies; neckties, as their name suggests, are to be worn around your neck and under the collar of your shirt, not around your head, not around your waist, not around your wrist, not around your ankle, not tied to your school bag, not tied around any other item or part of your anatomy except your neck and under your shirt collar.
As always, I expect that the traditions, customs, and good manners typical of the Cutlers Grammar School student will be upheld. You are Cutlers Grammar School now, and we all expect you to honor your school's illustrious history.
My office is always open, and bear that in mind for good and for ill.
Also, gentlemen, I suggest you study this chart well:
How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

My office may be open, but it will be empty for part of the afternoon today. I have a meeting at the university. I think you can act in my absence.

[ooc: Yes. I went there.]
