Decision time, bargelings. It’s time to start packing up because we’re moving! Now, on the mod side, we’ve already moved over the communities and got a lot of things up and running. The OOC and Logs comm, however, have too many comments and they have put a cap on them (over 100,000! Wow!) for now. The entries are there, but the comments are not. However, this will change in the future, so just be patient for that!
Now, like any big move, we’re going to need a bit of transition time because of all the changes that are being made. So, for the next week, we encourage you to continue posting to your journals on LJ, finish up/start plots and just generally carry on as normal, but be aware of what’s coming up.
Also, we’ve taken into consideration the option of making TLV a comm based game. We were able to all get together and discuss it and we’ve decided to keep it journal based. That’s not what this post covers, so if you’d like an deeper explanation of our reasons, feel free to contact one of us. Just know that we did take all of your reasons into consideration!
So, for those who like lists, we’ve created this handy dandy list with to-dos and suggestions and other things!
1. Preferably very soon, make sure that you have an account over at DW for your characters. You can register for free for now. Don’t panic if you don’t make it by the deadline. We can get a block code with no problem!
2. ASAP, comment here with your journal name at DW only if you have changed it. If you don’t comment here, we’re going to just assume that it’s the same! This is for our lists over at DW.
3. Remember, you can start getting your New Years’ gifts starting today and going through for a few days. Kim put up a helpful
meme here and it’s not too late to get your lists up there. Even if they didn’t make an official post!
4. There is an OpenID function that will allow you to post in both LJ and DW, should the need arise. However, we’re not all that familiar with it yet, so we encourage anyone who is to comment here as well if necessary!
5. There will be no activity check this month. Instead, we might have a roll call type situation when we get to DW, so be prepared for that.
6. If you have any other comments or questions, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We really want to make sure that we are able to properly transition without too much muss or fuss. And we will also let you know when applications are properly open again.
